Academy Performance Series 2010

The Academy is Spectrum Dance Theater’s intensive program for dedicated students, ages 14-21, who are interested in training for possible careers in dance. This three year program is highly unique: it offers a diverse curriculum of Ballet, Contemporary, Donald Byrd Technique, Lyrical, Choreography, and World Dance, which translates into a well-rounded dance training program. And, The Academy stands alone as the only professional contemporary dance training program for aspiring dancers in the region that is associated with a world-class professional contemporary dance company – offering students the highest quality of instruction -- This exciting affiliation opens up many special opportunities for learning, mastery and artistic development.
