The Miraculous Mandarin / Petruchska - Resident dance company of The Moore Theatre, SDT is proud to co-present with Seattle Theatre Group the world premier double bill, The Miraculous Mandarin / Petruchska, choreographed by world-acclaimed SDT Artistic Director, Donald Byrd

These powerful pieces are danced re-interpretations based on Bela Bartok and Igor Stravinsky's music masterpieces of the same titles. The pairing of these two early 20th Century masterworks is Mr. Byrd's boldly lurid and brutal choreography continues his artistic exploration into the danced-narrative, as well as his aspiration to theatrically realize and make relevent these works for 21st Century audiences.
