About the Studio Series

The Studio Series fosters the creation of new choreography and revivals of note. These choreographies are seen as the first stage in a multi-step developmental and relationship building process with local and regional choreographers.

Spectrum continues to serve and promote the local creative community by inviting regional artists to develop original works for Spectrum's company. Previously invited to choreograph for Spectrum's Studio Series in 2006 and 2007 respectively, O'Neal and Scofield return to create new works for the first Studio Series production of 2008-2009. Balancing the ebullient energy and talent of Spectrum's artists, will be the innovative work of these outstanding choreographers, in this exciting movement celebration.
