Kelly
Ann Barton
(Principal Artist) Kelly Ann Barton grew
up in Portland, Oregon. She trained and choreographed
as a member of the Jefferson Dancers, graduating in 2006.
Under the direction of Sarah Slipper, Kelly Ann has spent
the last four summers working with the Northwest Professional
Dance Project, where she studied professionally with Donald
McKayle, Alonzo King, Donald Byrd, Thaddeus Davis and
other leading dance makers. She has also performed in
5th Avenue Theatre's production of West Side Story, and
most recently Seattle Opera's production of Aida. This
is Kelly Ann's third season with Spectrum.

Vincent Lopez
Vincent Lopez began his
ballet training at The School of Ballet Arizona under
the direction of Kee Juan Han and Truman Finney. After
his first three years of dance, he received The Oprah
Winfrey Scholarship to study various styles of dance at
The Ailey School for one year in New York City. That year
he was privileged enough to perform choreography by Alvin
Ailey, Dwight Rhoden, and David Parsons. Then from NYC
to Austin, TX he had joined Ballet Austin II for one season
performing works by Stephen Mills, Gina Patterson, Thang
Dao, and Thaddeus Davis who soon after took Lopez into
Wideman/Davis Dance performing projects that would take
him all over USA and into the Dominican Republic. Now
in his sixth year of dance, Lopez performed with Dominic
Walsh Dance Theater in the summer of 2008 before making
a home for himself here in Seattle. This will be his first
season with Spectrum.

Ty
Alexander Cheng
(Principal Artist) Ty Alexander Cheng, a
Seattle native, began his professional dance training
at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance, and has participated
in all three annual summer dance intensives (The Professional
Dance Project) in Portland, OR . He danced with MOMIX
Dance Theater for two seasons under the direction of Moses
Pendleton, with whom he had the opportunity to perform
all over the globe. He has also danced with Balance Dance
Theater under the direction of Obediah Wright. He would
like to give special thanks to Steve, Sarah, Mary, John,
Jonte, Sadie, Duane, and Wendy for helping him get where
he is today. This is Ty’s second season with Spectrum
Dance Theater.

Joel Meyers
(Principal Artist) This
is Joel Myers' third season performing with Spectrum Dance
Theater. He received the majority of his training from
the Evergreen City Ballet under artistic director Wade
Walthall. Mr. Myers serves also as the in-house choreographer
of the Loyalty Conglomerate in Tacoma .

Amber
Mayberry
Amber Nicole Mayberry
of Washington, DC trained at the Washington School of
Ballet, the Dance Theatre of Harlem Residency Program
and with Fabian Barnes at the Dance Institute of Washington.
In 2005, she graduated cum laude from SUNY-Purchase College
where she performed works by Richard Cook, Michael Blake
and Sean Curran with ABT's Studio Company. She has performed
with Washington Reflections Dance Company, This Woman’s
Work, Elisa Monte Dance and Wideman/Davis Dance. In addition
to concert dance, Ms. Mayberry has also performed with
the Washington National Opera and the Baltimore Opera
Company. Ms. Mayberry joined Spectrum in 2009.

Tory Peil
(Principal Artist) Tory grew up in Ashland,
Oregon where she studied under Sylvia Bolton. She spent
summers on scholarship with Pacific Northwest Ballet,
Alonzo King's LINES Ballet and Northwest Professional
Dance Project. She spent the last 3 years with St. Louis
Ballet company before coming to Spectrum. This is her
first season with Spectrum.

Michael Bagne
Michael Bagne was raised in Rochester NY where he studied under the direction of Sandy Stramonine. He graduated from Point Park University with a BA in dance under the direction of Susan Stowe. While attending school he had the opportunity to perform works by Kiesha Lalama-White, Jason McDole, Douglas Bentz, Ronald Tassone, Whitney Moncrief, Cheryl Mann, Daniel Ezralow, David Parsons, and Agnes de Mille. During his senior year Michael was given the opportunity to showcase his work de Facto at The American College Dance Festival. Post graduation, Michael has been a part of the Martha Graham Two Company, Amy Marshall Dance Company and has been a guest artist for Olympic Ballet Theatre. He has also performed works by Nathan Trice, Tony Bordonaro, Eryc Taylor,and Tze Chun. This is Michael’s first season with Spectrum Dance Theater.

Kylie Lewallen
(Principal Artist) Kylie Lewallen was born
and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her
classical ballet training from Mrs. Patricia Stander and
was a member Dance Peninsula Ballet for over 10 years.
Under the Artistic Direction of Mrs. Stander, she danced
classical and contemporary works by choreographers including
Valerie Houston, Charles Maple, and Elloy Barragan. Kylie
was fortunate to also study with Charles Raye, Cami Marseilles,
Dudley Davies, Preston Li, and Alexander and Marina Kalinina.
This is her first season with Spectrum.

Bonnie Boiter-Jolley
Bonnie Boiter-Jolley, originally from South Carolina, graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts high school program where she was a scholarship student under Melissa Hayden, Kee Juan Han and Warren Connover among others. Bonnie spent summers studying at the American Ballet Theatre’s NYC intensive as well as at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow, and Ballet Adriatico, Italy both under the direction of Anna Marie Holmes. In the spring of 2010 Bonnie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College with degrees in Dance Performance and Choreography and Political Science. While studying at the university she was fortunate to perform numerous works from the Balanchine Trust as well as by choreographers Twyla Tharp, Lyla York, Kevin O’Day, Thaddeus Davis and Alan Hineline. Bonnie was also privileged to be asked to work with Wideman Davis Dance with whom she performed in the NYC Summerstage festival in 2010. This is Bonnie’s first season with Spectrum Dance Theater.
