EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Anne Derieux began her dancing career as the first corps member of the newly founded "Ballets De Monte-Carlo" in 1985. Quickly promoted soloist, she toured extensively worldwide, dancing in the most prestigious theaters on four continents. In 1992, she was invited to join Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she was promoted Principal Dancer.

Following her retirement in 2000, Ms. Derieux graduated from the University of Washington's Fundraising Management program. While studying non-profit management, she became Executive Director of The Evergreen City Ballet, which she decisively led through four years of fiscal stability and financial expansion.

In March 2005, Spectrum Dance Theater hired Ms. Derieux as Managing Director, where she promptly launched an administrative re-structuring plan designed to better serve the company's new artistic vision.
